Greater Manchester Combined Authority have commissioned the Growth Company to run a 12-month pilot called Care Smarter to work with a small cross selection of adult social care providers in Greater Manchester to test how best to encourage the adoption of technology in the Adult Social Care sector.
The pilot will include capacity from the Growth Company team to work with you to identify an appropriate technology, provide grant-funding and support with workforce training for the chosen technology.
The pilot will include:
- Capacity from the Growth Company team to work with you to identify an appropriate technology to support your business priorities
- Creation of a roadmap to support with the installation of the new technology
- Support with developing a business case
- Provide grant funding for the technology and introduction to the technology provider
- Support the workforce to adopt and understand the technology and staff training
- Provide ongoing support when required such as cyber security
