Dear Care Providers,
As you may be aware, the Department of Health and Social Care has made £690,000 available to Greater Manchester to help support international recruitment in the adult social care sector, with the ability for Care Providers to apply for this through a small grants fund recently distributed through your Locality Lead contacts. To that end we are attempting to increase the offer of support to recruiting managers and international recruits. We have attached below a Microsoft Forms link that will allow you to share your involvement/future intentions towards international recruitment. We have also listed a few points below for you to bear in mind when completing the form.
Anonymity: We assure all Care Providers that your responses will remain entirely confidential. There is the option to leave your email address at the end of the form if you’d like colleagues to get in touch and follow up on supporting your organisation with international recruitment.
Benefit to International Recruitment Programme: By participating in this feedback process, Care Providers are directly contributing to the enhancement of the international recruitment programme. Your insights will help us refine our offer and ensure that the programme effectively meets the needs of Care Providers across Greater Manchester.
Support for Care Providers: This initiative is designed to support Care Providers as comprehensively as possible. The information collected through the Microsoft Forms will assist us in identifying areas where additional support is required, enabling us to tailor our efforts to better suit the unique challenges faced by yourselves as Care Providers from a workforce perspective.
Capturing Comprehensive Information: Even if you as a Care Provider have not applied to the international recruitment small grants fund, your input is immensely valuable. We aim to capture information from all Care Providers who have benefited from international recruits within their organisations or intend to recruit in the future, regardless of their application status.
