Following the Home Secretary’s announcement on 4th December, regarding changes to the immigration system, the estimated immigration impact assessments and a fact sheet to address FAQs have now been published as of the 21st December 2023.

Until the Immigration Rules are amended, the current thresholds and policies remain in place, however, we all need to be aware from a Greater Manchester perspective the imminent changes and act accordingly (outlined in the second link). If you have not done so already, please share within your internal networks and to Care Provider colleagues, as these changes will, amongst the various measures described, affect the eligibility of future prospective candidates and families currently residing in the UK with a family visa.
