Founded in 1990 and based in Rochdale, Metro Moneywise Credit Union is an employee-based organisation. It is fully regulated, and all savings and loans are protected, giving you complete peace of mind. To join, there’s a one-off annual fee of £3.50 paid directly to Metro Moneywise. It is open to all health and social care staff under the GM ICP banner. If you want to join, you will need to select ‘NHS GM ICP’ to be able to join the union under a Direct Debit arrangement to access savings and loans to help with Debt consolidation. You will have to provide a payroll number, but there is no further involvement of the ICP or employer as the arrangement is between the individual and the credit union.
