UNIVERSITY OF BOLTON TRAINING OPPORTUNITIES

A few years ago, we introduced a complimentary educational program tailored for healthcare assistants and caregivers operating in care home and residential settings. I wanted to share some of the outcomes stemming from the Health Education Funded project. Since its implementation in 2020, our team has been diligently exploring effective educational delivery methods. Those who pursued the “University of Bolton Care Home Education Award” have been pivotal in helping us grasp the sector’s needs.

This year, we are excited to announce the validation of an accredited 20-credit module at Levels 6 and 7, specifically designed for nurses, Allied Health Professionals (AHPs), and registered managers in the social care sector. Further information and details about these modules are provided below. The module will be delivered asynchronously, eliminating the need to release staff for university attendance or scheduled online teaching sessions. If you’re interested in delving deeper into the teaching strategy employed in this module, please feel free to reach out to me.

To express our gratitude for the valuable contributions from our GM social care partners in developing this module, we are pleased to extend a token of appreciation. An exclusive discount of £200 per student is available for the April 24 intake of this module. With this special offer, the total cost for the module is reduced to £600 per student. This represents an outstanding value when compared to the pricing of similar 20-credit academic modules offered by other universities in the region.
