We wanted to share some \u2018good news\u2019 updates with you all.<\/p>\n

Firstly we would like to extend a very warm welcome to Hannah Waterson <\/strong>who started last week as Research Associate \u2013 Knowledge Mobilisation working with Creative Health Greater Manchester Place Partnership and Civic University Board (CUB).<\/p>\n

Now Hannah is in post we would like to set up a more specific conversation\/ working group around data\/ evaluation and research \u2013 please contact me directly if you would like to be involved. <\/strong><\/p>\n

Secondly last week we launched our Myriad Resource.<\/p>\n

Myriad: A Global Majority Spotlight on Creative Health Launches Online Resource<\/strong><\/p>\n

https:\/\/myriadproject.co.uk\/<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/strong>Myriad was a two year project (2023-25) aiming that harnesses creative health approaches to contribute to more equitable, connected, and culturally competent mental health support in Greater Manchester.<\/p>\n

We have now launched an online resource to share learning from Myriad- particularly a core competency framework to support practitioners and organisations to develop culturally competent practice. Please take a look and do feedback any thoughts.<\/p>\n

Finally we are delighted to have been referenced in an article in Perspectives in Public Health<\/em><\/strong>, – Creativity and collaboration in public health – J Channing, H Smith-Charles, 2025<\/a><\/p>\n

\u2018Greater Manchester is another place that is integrating creative health into public health through its Creative Health Strategy.6<\/a><\/sup>\u00a0It outlines the role of creative and cultural engagement in reducing inequalities as part of Live Well; the city region\u2019s commitment to ensuring great everyday support is available in every neighbourhood.
