This is your opportunity to move beyond identifying talent issues and actively collaborate on solutions that will close labour and skills gaps in your sector.<\/p>\n<p>The views of providers in the sector are the most valuable data we can collect. Without hearing directly from you, the GM LSIP risks missing the specific, localised skills challenges your sector faces.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Influence Policy and Funding: Ensure that funding allocated for skills and training is invested in the qualifications and courses your business and the sector genuinely needs.<\/li>\n<li>Solve Talent Issues: Identify common, sector skills shortages that can only be addressed through a coordinated regional approach.<\/li>\n<li>Build the Future Workforce: Help define new educational pathways and curricula, ensuring that school leavers and graduates arrive job ready.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>How can you help?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Please fill in the GM LSIP survey, which has questions on sector-specific skills needs, recruitment difficulties and training needs.
