On board, specially trained staff will be available for free, friendly conversations about spotting the early signs of cancer.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"fusion-responsive-typography-calculated\" data-fontsize=\"25\" data-lineheight=\"28.75px\">Could you spot the signs?<\/h2>\n<p>The earlier cancer is found, the easier it is to treat. The NHS wants everyone to know the key symptoms to look out for, including:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A<strong>\u00a0lump or swelling<\/strong>\u00a0anywhere on the body<\/li>\n<li>A<strong>\u00a0cough or breathlessness<\/strong>\u00a0lasting more than three weeks<\/li>\n<li>Unexplained\u00a0<strong>bleeding<\/strong>\u00a0(in pee, poo, or between periods)<\/li>\n<li><strong>Heartburn<\/strong>\u00a0that lasts for three weeks or more<\/li>\n<li>Unexplained\u00a0<strong>tiredness, pain, loss of appetite,<\/strong>\u00a0or\u00a0<strong>weight loss<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Dr Sarah Taylor, a Manchester GP, explains:<\/p>\n<div class=\"fusion-text fusion-text-1\">\n<p>\u201cMost of the time, these symptoms aren\u2019t cancer \u2013 but it\u2019s always worth getting them checked. If it is cancer, catching it early makes all the difference.
