This is an opportunity to put your left and right foot into the world of klezmer, the inter-generational musical and dance cultures of the Jewish communities of Eastern Europe. Try out a dance or two, or simply sit back and listen to the rich crossover of musical tradition.<\/p>\n<p>KoM are joined by the Hall\u00e9\u2019s very own violist Chris Emerson, who has worked with the students from the UoM Klezmer Ensemble over the years to develop their performance skills and enhance musicianship. Also joining us will be local dance band leaders Judith Plowman and Adrian Dobson to bring you an immersive klezmer dance experience.<\/p>\n<p>This event is supported by the University of Manchester Humanities Strategic Civic Engagement Fund.<\/p>\n<p>The next events are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Monday 23 November 2026<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Both at\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/halle.co.uk\/venues\/halle-st-peters\/\">Hall\u00e9 St Peter\u2019s<\/a>.
