The CSH-Burdett DAISY Award for Extraordinary Nurses in Sustainable Healthcare<\/a><\/p>\n

CSH is delighted to partner with the Burdett Trust for Nursing and the Daisy Foundation to recognise , acknowledge and showcase the brilliant work nurses and midwives are doing to achieve sustainability healthcare.<\/p>\n

Green Nursing Challenge 2026 \u2013 Centre for Sustainable Healthcare<\/a><\/p>\n

\n

CSH have launched a second challenge – supporting nurses and midwives to lead sustainable healthcare initiatives and implement improvements to patient care, with additional benefits of reducing costs and carbon emissions.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

The Green Nursing Challenge is fully funded by \u00a0<\/b>Micro-Tech UK<\/b><\/a>\u00a0 and delivered in partnership with the Queen\u2019s Institute of Community Nursing<\/a>, the Foundation of Nursing Studies<\/a>, Nursing Now Challenge<\/a> and the Social Care Nursing Advisory Council<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The Greener Palliative Care Bronze Award<\/b> – provides a framework for progress in environmental sustainability. It uses existing experience and the available evidence to help drive forward environmentally sustainable practices, by showing a clear path towards progress in an area that can be difficult to approach.<\/p>\n

\n

Both the NHS and charitable organisations (e.g. hospices) can take part.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
