Grants to support higher levels of mental wellbeing

GMCVO are delivering the fourth year of a grants programme

These grants are funded by the Greater Manchester Integrated Care Partnership, to support people from communities of identity or experience, based in Greater Manchester, to improve their mental wellbeing.  There have been two previous micro grant funding rounds this year for VCSE faith and Small VCSE organisations.  The third round is the Greater Manchester mental wellbeing small grants which opened at the end of September.

This is a closed round of funding with between £1,000 – £5,000 available to previous recipients of a Greater Manchester mental wellbeing grants. A total of £128,000 is available for between 24 and 30 projects. Closing date is Wednesday 1st November at 12 midday.

As part of this programme, we are encouraging organisations to think creatively about how the ‘five ways to wellbeing’ could be used to support people. These include connecting with others, getting active, mindfulness, learning new things and giving to others.  The small grant application must be a development and incorporate learning from the organisations previous grants.
