{"id":4193,"date":"2023-02-15T09:43:48","date_gmt":"2023-02-15T09:43:48","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/hub.gmintegratedcare.org.uk\/mental-health\/?page_id=4193"},"modified":"2025-10-30T12:15:40","modified_gmt":"2025-10-30T12:15:40","slug":"complex-emotional-needs","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/hub.gmintegratedcare.org.uk\/mental-health\/our-work\/complex-emotional-needs\/","title":{"rendered":"Complex Emotional and Relational Needs"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Evidence supports community-based trauma informed psychological interventions with the aspiration in Greater Manchester to deliver:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>A clinical model that improves access to evidence based psychological treatment with the clinical aspiration being to be able to offer psychologically informed NICE adherent therapy and care for a great number of people with Complex Emotional and Relational Needs\u00a0 in Greater Manchester<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><strong>Our aims<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Implement a structured clinical model and integrated multi-agency pathway across Greater Manchester<\/li>\n<li>Introduce local co-produced (between experts by experience and experts by occupation) care pathways in each Borough across Greater Manchester<\/li>\n<li>Deliver and evaluate with an agreed outcome set to ensure we monitor high quality services<\/li>\n<li>To not only improve clinical but also occupational and quality of life outcomes across Greater Manchester<\/li>\n<li>Deliver consistency in service delivery across Greater Manchester<\/li>\n<li>Improve support and education for carers supporting people with Complex Emotional and Relational Needs<\/li>\n<li>Enhance the whole system\/community ability to be able to provide containing support and help for people in crisis and distressed associated with trauma and\u00a0Complex Emotional and Relational Needs<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>What do we offer?<\/strong><br \/>\nWe offer evidence based therapeutic interventions based on NICE guidance. It is likely to require\u00a0about a year to 18 months commitment overall.
