Kooth\u2019s services – Kooth.com for those aged 10 – 25 and Qwell.io for adults aged 26+ – were commissioned last year by NHS Greater Manchester Integrated Care<\/a>. Accessible to approximately two million people across all the 10 localities of Greater Manchester, Kooth.com<\/a> and Qwell.io<\/a> offer a unique out of office hours\u2019 provision that is open 7 days a week, 365 days a year.<\/p>\n

Both Kooth and Qwell are free, safe, and confidential, which means they provide a non-judgmental place for anyone to seek professional mental health support. This is crucial for those who find it hard to reach out and ask for help. Kooth\u2019s team of experienced practitioners and professional counsellors are here to listen and can provide support at a range of levels.<\/p>\n

Kooth and Qwell are designed to provide a choice of personalised mental health services – from access to one-to-one text-based sessions with experienced counsellors and wellbeing practitioners to fully safeguarded peer community support – that help promote, protect, and improve emotional wellbeing and mental health.<\/p>\n

There\u2019s no referral needed from a health professional, waiting lists or criteria to qualify for this invaluable support. Kooth and Qwell are instantly accessible once you register for the service – it takes 5 mins – through an internet-connected smartphone, tablet, or computer.<\/p>\n

In Greater Manchester we really raised the bar when it comes to mental wellbeing support, as we became the first UK region to provide digital mental health support free to all residents.\u00a0 No matter the issue or situation, Kooth is here to help the people of Greater Manchester – safely and confidentially. Quite simply, whatever\u2019s on your mind, we\u2019re here to listen.<\/p>\n
