Locality parent infant mental health teams

The parent infant mental health teams are an early intervention service which focuses both on promotion, prevention and treatment.  The service raises awareness of the importance of the parent infant relationship by offering training, support and consultation to professionals, and liaising with professionals and services in the community to promote the importance of parent infant relationship. The teams also offer a specialist clinical service to families where there are concerns with the parent-infant relationship which need specific attention and intervention.
