Children’s Mental Health Week 2025 is taking place February 3rd to 9th and there are so many ways you can take part

The theme this year is 'Know Yourself, Grow Yourself', which is about encouraging children and young people across the UK to embrace self-awareness and explore what it means for them.

Place2Be have developed some resources for families, parents and carers: An art activity that encourages children to embrace self-awareness and promotes personal growth; Top Tips for families, parents and carers to encourage children to express their emotions. You can download the resources here

1 in 5 children and young people now have a probable mental health condition. By taking
part in Place2Be’s Children’s Mental Health Week 2025, you can help us to ensure that
children and young people across the UK feel listened to, and know that they’re not alone.

They’ve developed a school pack that contains everything you need to take part in the week – from group activities, top tips and an assembly guide. You can download this here  

You can also access a new video mini-series created by BAFTA ahead of Children’s Mental Health Week 2025 explores the importance of self-awareness for wellbeing. These videos are aimed at older primary school pupils, and secondary / high school pupils. They could be used in school, or at home, as a conversation starter with children and young people.
