Want to be part of The Adverse Childhood Experience and Trauma Responsive Movement across Greater Manchester?

On January 9th 2024 we’re going to hear about the amazing work that has been happening across Greater Manchester to achieve our goal of being an ACE (adverse childhood experience) and trauma responsive city-region.

We’ll learn how grassroot expertise is leading the way in shifting thinking, how our locality partnerships are working together to make change happen and how our public and VCSE sector across Greater Manchester is making changes to ensure we shift behaviour and respond to people’s needs. We’ll hear from people with lived experience on how trauma has impacted, what has helped them, and how we can mitigate such experiences, including what the public sector can do to support people.

We want to make this event a positive experience for all. We will have break out rooms and open spaces for reflection and sharing knowledge. Over the day we can listen, share evidence, knowledge, and practice, and most importantly shape what happens next. We want you to be part of the movement!

The Greater Manchester ACE and Trauma Responsive event, in partnership with the Violence Reduction Unit, will take place:

On Tuesday January 9th 2024

At the AJ Bell Stadium, Salford

From 9am to 4.30pm

With plenty of time in the day to network, find out what’s happening and reflect on the great achievements. And Manchester’s Inflatable Brain will be there for you to have a go!
