VR CARE STUDY

VR CARE Research Project

Virtual Reality (VR) training for risk reduction in care homes

We are looking for research participants…

Are you:

  • A senior care home staff member who has used VR for any purposes (e.g., training, resident therapies etc)
    OR
  • A staff member from a company that provides VR to care homes

Then we would like to invite you to take part in our research study at the University of Manchester!

The study aims to understand how VR training in hand hygiene and falls prevention can be introduced and supported in care home settings. To do this we would like to conduct short interviews with participants to gather their views and experiences.

Key details:

  • The research will help develop an implementation toolkit to support care homes in adopting VR training
  • Interviews will be arranged at a convenient time for you and can be online, over the phone or in-person.
  • Participation is entirely voluntary, and all information will be kept confidential.
