As part of Carers Week, North West ADASS are delighted to launch their second online collaborative Northern ASC Festival, ‘Building Carer Friendly Communities’ hosted by the three Northern ADASS Regions (NW ADASS, Y&H ADASS and NE ADASS)
The festival of 11 on-line events will create a focused space for councils and partners to share learning, showcase innovative practice, and strengthen how unpaid carers are supported across the North.
With a strong emphasis on practical ideas and what makes a difference, the sessions are designed to support local areas to drive improvement and deliver meaningful, lasting impact for carers and their communities.
Aligned with Carers Week theme “Building Carer Friendly Communities,” the programme brings together a rich mix of perspectives, including:
- Regulatory CQC insight
- Local ASC leadership
- Community and voluntary sector voices
- Lived experience
