The Autumn / Winter Vaccination programme is soon to be rolled out.
As like previous programmes, you do not have to contact your GP or local pharmacy – they will contact you.
Please check who is eligible within your residents. Information and links on the poster or via the Green Book.
Consent – this has always been a barrier to an efficient roll out of the programme. Please can you start early in gathering consent from residents or their representatives.
Consent needs to be sought BEFORE the 1st October.
Delays in consent may leave your residents vulnerable to infection.
Key dates:
Early September – you will be contacted to arrange the visits.
1st October – visits will commence. With a schedule of 3 visits to ensure all residents have the opportunity.
