Do you have any events or activities planned for October or a job at the top of the ‘to-do’ list such as painting where you could value an extra pair of hands?
We are looking for volunteering opportunities that staff who work in NHS Greater Manchester Integrated Care can support with for one morning or one afternoon in October.
We are looking for volunteering opportunities across Greater Manchester that staff can get involved in to give back to communities in Greater Manchester and we would like to call out if you as Adult Social Care providers in GM have any activities that can be included in this week.
When?
The week of the 12th to 16th October 2026.
How long?
For one day (as a one-time session) where people can join and support for half a day e.g morning or afternoon
What kind of examples?
Examples could include: gardening / planting, supporting with a food bank, pantries or soup kitchens, a be-friending service or helping at any local community events you have planned etc.
How many volunteers?
We would be looking for an opportunity for 5 to 10 volunteers per half day.
