Join The Outstanding Society for their Extreme Weather Learning Event on Thursday 20 August, 1 pm to 2 pm, bringing together leaders from across adult social care, regulation, public health and the DHSC to share learning and discuss practical approaches to resilience.
We’re delighted to announce that Amanda Partington Todd, Deputy Director of Adult Social Care at the Care Quality Commission (CQC), will be joining colleagues from:
- Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC)
- UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA)
- Vivaldi Social Care
- Adult social care providers from across all settings
This is more than a learning event. Representatives from DHSC will be attending to listen, understand the challenges and opportunities facing providers, take away key messages from the sector, and consider how these insights can help inform future action and support.
This is an opportunity for providers to share their experiences of extreme weather and help shape the wider conversation about resilience in adult social care.
