The Greater Manchester Making Smoking History team has developed this Making Smoking History Stop Smoking Campaign Partnership Pack to help you share and amplify the latest What Will You Miss? Stop Smoking Campaign which goes live on 2nd March – 12th April.
This March, we’re asking one powerful question: What will you miss if you don’t quit smoking?
From everyday moments to life’s biggest milestones, smoking takes away precious time. This campaign shines a light on what truly matters and encourages people who smoke to access the free support available to help them take their first step towards quitting.
We’re inviting you to:
- Share the ready to go campaign resources across your channels
- Spread the message within your local communities
- Signpost people to support through the Smoke Free app, local stop smoking services, healthcare professionals, and community-based support
You can download campaign assets here:

If you are short on time, the quickest and easiest way to support the campaign is to look out for the campaign posts and assets on our social media channels and share to your followers:
- Facebook: /MakeSmokingHistoryGM
- Instagram: /makesmokinghistorygm
- LinkedIn: makesmokinghistory
The campaign launches on 2 March 2026 and runs through National No Smoking Day (Wednesday 11 March) until 12 April. This is a key opportunity to amplify the message and help more people connect with the support they need.
Thank you for your continued partnership. If you are experiencing any issues accessing files, or if you have any questions, please email gmhscp.makingsmokinghistory@nhs.net
