The campaign aims to
- Amplify colleagues’ lived experiences and set clear expectations for respectful behaviour
- Clearly state that racism towards staff will not be tolerated and has consequences
- Raise awareness of harmful behaviour and why it is unacceptable
- Build trust and psychological safety to speak up – increase reporting to enable system-wide improvement.
- Strengthen leadership and bystander support for staff.
- Promote learning and positive behaviour change.
We will share a toolkit containing the video, graphics, messages and quote cards for partners to use across:
- organisational social media
- staff and public newsletters
- websites and intranets
- staff meetings and team briefings
- community and voluntary groups
We will work with local and regional media to support the launch, using the strong interest and leadership backing across Greater Manchester.
